Agriculture ministry signs training MoU with Iran

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi agriculture ministry on Tuesday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian side to provide training courses for Iraqis for free. “Thanks to an Iranian loan of $40 million, the ministry will purchase agricultural equipment and machines, in addition to exchange of experts between the two countries,” Minister Ali Hussein al-Bahadli was quoted in a ministry release received by IraqiNews.com. “The minister, along with a delegation that comprised experts and agronomists, had paid a one-week visit to Iran and got abreast of modern equipment and machines,” the release added.
