Iraq-Electricity BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The general inspector of the Electricity Ministry on Tuesday survived an attempt on his life in western Baghdad, the media spokesman for the ministry said. “Saadi al-Sudani, the general inspector of the Electricity Ministry, survived an assassination attempt when an explosive charge went off in front of his house in al-Qadisiya neighborhood in western Baghdad,” Aziz Sultan al-Shimri told IraqiNews.com. “The explosion injured the eldest son of al-Sudani,” he added, noting that the inspector was not hurt.
