Arguments in parliament between Sadrists, speaker

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The parliament’s session on Thursday witnessed heated argument between Sadrist lawmakers and Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani. Sadrist lawmakers protested during the second reading of the U.S. troops withdrawal agreement, flaring an argument with Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, who decided to continue the session and read the draft law. Yesterday witnessed heated arguments between Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and lawmakers on the U.S. troops withdrawal agreement. The session also witnessed, what the Sadrist bloc described as an aggression on one of its lawmakers by Zebari’s bodyguards, the matter that forced al-Mashhadani to adjourn the session until today.
