INL boycotts parliament’s session

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi National List (INL) will boycott the parliament’s session on Thursday which will discuss the U.S. troops withdrawal agreement, MP Usama al-Negefi said. “We have decided to boycott today’s session until holding investigation into the aggression on Sadrist lawmaker,” al-Negefi told IraqiNews.com. He considered the aggression on Sadrist lawmaker a violation of all parliamentary values. The Iraqi National List has 19 seats out of the 275-seat parliament. Speaker of Iraq’s parliament Mahmoud al-Mashhadani on Wednesday decided to adjourn the session until Thursday after heated arguments between Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and lawmakers on the U.S. troops withdrawal agreement, a media source said.
