Parliament debates second reading of U.S. pact

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi parliament on Thursday resumed its regular session under Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani to debate the second reading of the U.S. troops withdrawal agreement. The session’s agenda includes the second reading of the U.S. troops withdrawal agreement draft law and the second reading of ratifying the strategic context of the friendship and cooperation agreement between Iraq and the U.S. bill. The session will also witness the second reading of a draft law of the relation between the executive and legislative authorities. SH (P) 1
