Academic conf. on Iraq’s relations with Arab world

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Faculty of Political Sciences in Baghdad’s al-Mustansiriya University on Saturday launched its second annual scientific conference to discuss Iraq’s bonds with the Arab world. Entitled ‘Iraq and the Arabs: Mutual opinion and common destiny,’ the conference was held under the auspices of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. The conference opened with speeches by a representative for the Iraqi minister of higher education, Aamer al-Allaq, and the president of the university, Taqi al-Mousawi. SS (P) 1
