Forces under our command rather than us under theirs – Kurdish MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Lawmaker Foad Maasom, head of the Kurdistan Alliance parliamentary bloc on Saturday said that transferring foreign forces to be under Iraqi command is better than remaining under their command.   “I call on parliamentary blocs to overcome tensions, and to find a consensus over the Iraqi-U.S. pact,” Maasom said in the parliament’s session today.   The Kurdistan Alliance occupies 53 out of 275 seats in Iraq’s council of representatives.   MH (P)/SR 1
