Kurdistan to have prosperous relations with Turkey – Kurdish politician

BAGHDAD / Awat al-Iraq: The regional premier of Kurdistan’s regional cabinet, Nejervan Barazani, on Saturday said that the region will have prosperous relations with Turkey after the opening of the first private Turkish University in Arbil, according to a release posted by the cabinet’s Web site. “Opening the University has an important role in developing political relations between Kurdistan region and Turkey,” the release quoted Barazani. “I am sure that the future of the region’s relations with Turkey will be prosperous,” he added.
