7 wounded in downtown Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Seven civilians on Sunday were wounded in an explosive charge attack that ripped through downtown Baghdad’s area of al-Karada, a police source said. “An improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unknown men near Uqba Bin Nafi’ Square in downtown Baghdad’s al-Karada neighborhood went off today, leaving seven civilians wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com.
