2 killed, 8 wounded in Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Two civilians were killed and eight others wounded on Monday morning when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in eastern Baghdad, the second today, an Iraqi police source said. “An IED went off today when a passenger bus was passing by in New Baghdad area, in the eastern part of the Iraqi capital, leaving two civilians killed and eight others injured,” the source told IraqiNews.com. Earlier, a security source said central Baghdad’s heavily-fortified green zone witnessed a blast today morning, leaving an unidentified number of casualties. AmR (P) 1
