Gunmen shoot down policeman in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A policeman was killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen on his patrol in western Mosul city, a security source in Ninewa province said on Monday. “Unknown gunmen opened fire last night at a police patrol in the area of Qabr el-Bint, western Mosul, leaving one policeman killed,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The gunmen escaped to an unknown place,” the source said, adding “the patrolman’s body was removed to a morgue in Mosul”.
