KA seeks consensus on U.S. pact – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Lawmaker Serwan al-Zahawi of the Kurdistan Alliance (KA) parliamentary bloc on Wednesday said that the bloc wants an agreement among political entities when parliament votes on the Iraqi-U.S. security pact. “Demands submitted by the Iraqi Accord Front (IAF) are patriotic and necessary to reach a semi-unanimous agreement,” al-Zahawi told IraqiNews.com. “Meetings are underway to reach a semi-national agreement on the pact,” he added.
