Fadila party supports government in dealing with pact violation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Head of the Fadila parliamentary bloc on Thursday said that the entity will support the Iraqi government in dealing with any violations that may occur while implementing the Iraqi-U.S. security pact, explaining that the bloc did not join today’s session of Iraq’s parliament because “there are no guarantees” that the pact will be implemented. “The bloc will have a positive stance supporting the political process,” Haasan al-Shemmary said in a press conference in Baghdad that was attended by IraqiNews.com. “There are many notes regarding the pact’s items,” he added. “The bloc did not make any demands, as other entities had, regarding the political reformation document,” he noted. The Fadila bloc occupies 15 seats out of 275 in Iraq’s council of representatives. MH (P)/SR 1
