More bridges on the way in Missan

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: A project to set up bridges in Missan province has been referred to a local company, Missan’s governor said on Thursday. The total cost of the project is $20 million U.S. dollars, Governor Adel Mahodar told IraqiNews.com, revealing an agreement between the local government and the minister of municipalities and public affairs to entrust the project management to the province. Missan is a Shiite province. Its capital city is al-Amara. Sitting on the Tigris River, Amara lies 390 km south of Baghdad. Missan, in the east of the country, bordering Iran, is home to many marsh Arabs. SS (P)/SR 1
