Parliament passes U.S. security deal

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi parliament passed the controversial security pact with Washington on Thursday, paving the way for a U.S. troop withdrawal by the end of 2011. Lawmakers of Iraq’s 275 seat parliament passed the deal by a landslide majority amid oppositions from Sadrists lawmakers. SH (P) 1
