Premier urges speedy reconstruction efforts

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Monday called to speed up the reconstruction process that is currently taking place in the country. “National unity has placed responsibility on all of us…,” Maliki said during a ceremony to inaugurate a water project in Nassiriya city. Earlier this morning, Maliki arrived in Nassiriya city to open a major water project, according to a parliamentary media source. The project is one of the largest and most significant in Iraq.
