UNAMI’s report is positive – Minister

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Minister of Human Rights on Wednesday described the report of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) as positive. “The report praised the Iraqi governments’ efforts to reinforce the principle of human rights in the country, despite that it referred to some simple violations,” Wijdan Michael told IraqiNews.com. “If we compare the new report with the previous one, we would find a big progress in human rights in Iraq,” she added.
