10 men arrested in 24 hrs- BOC

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Ten persons have been arrested in different parts of the Iraqi capital throughout the past 24 hours, Baghdad Operation Command announced on Thursday. “Iraqi security forces captured nine wanted persons and one suspect, defused four explosive devices and seized a large amount of arms and ammunition during security operations in Baghdad,” Maj. Gen. Qassem Ata told IraqiNews.com. In cooperation with the Multi-National Force (MNF), Iraqi forces have been conducting a wide-scale security operation called Fardh al-Qanoon (Law Imposing) since February 2007 with the aim of restoring order to the capital.
