FM in NY to discuss MNF mandate termination

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A high-level Iraqi delegation led by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari headed for the United Nations headquarters in New York for talks on means of terminating the foreign forces’ mandate by the end of this year, according to an Iraqi foreign ministry release. “The delegation will also call on the UN Security Council to protect Iraqi funds and assets,” read the release as received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday.
