4 gunmen killed in Mosul clashes

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi army forces killed three gunmen in clashes in eastern Mosul on Thursday while one policeman was killed in a separate incident in the central part of the city, a source from Ninewa police said. “The three gunmen men were killed in a security operation in al-Karama neighborhood, eastern Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “In another incident, gunmen tried to assassinate a policeman in al-Sa’a area, central Mosul, where a security man managed to kill one of the gunmen before he sustained injuries and rushed to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
