8 arrested in separate areas of Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Multinational forces said on Thursday that they arrested 3 wanted men and five suspected gunmen in separate areas of Iraq during the past 24 hours. “The forces arrested on Wednesday a wanted man in Tikrit, north of Baghdad, suspected of working with armed groups in Samarra,” the MNF said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com. “They also detained two suspected al-Qaeda gunmen in south of Baghdad,” it added. “In Mosul, The forces arrested a wanted man and a suspected gunman,” it also said. “A wanted man and two suspected gunmen were arrested in Baghdad during a security raid in the city of Mosul,” the statement said.
