15 persons arrested in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A joint Iraqi – U.S. force on Monday arrested 15 persons in a security operation in the west of Kirkuk, said the commander of the city’s suburbs and districts police. “The operation took place in Bajwan village, 10 km to the west of Kirkuk,” Brigadier Sarhad Qadir told IraqiNews.com. “Three roadside bombs, one rocket, one rocket launcher, and two unlicensed rifles were seized during the operation,” he added.
