Talabani meets Chaldo-Assyrians, Armenians in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President on Wednesday meets with Chaldo-Assyrians and Armenian parties and blocs in Kirkuk and promised them to defend their rights throughout Iraq, an informed source said. “Talabani received at his premises in Kirkuk representatives of the Chaldo-Assyrians parties in the province and promised them to defend their rights,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “They asked the president to help them in reconstructing a number of churches,” he added, noting that the president expressed readiness to help them, deciding to allocate a special budget for this purpose.
