Urgent/ INDC, Independents bloc withdraw from IAF

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi National Dialogue Council (INDC) and the Independents bloc announced on Wednesday their withdrawal from the Sunni Iraqi Accord Front (IAF). Speaking at a press conference in Baghdad, attended by the resigned parliament’s speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, Head of the INDC, Khalaf al-Alyan said “the INDC and the Independents bloc announce their withdrawal from the IAF due to its failure in performing its duty.” He accused the Islamic party of dominating the leading posts in the IAF. The IAF is a Sunni bloc consists of three main blocs and has 28 seats out of the 275-seat parliament. SH (P) 1
