7 wounded in bombing near Baaquba

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Seven civilians on Thursday were wounded in a car bomb blast that targeted a U.S. patrol vehicle near Baaquba city, a local police chief said. “A car bomb driven by a suicide bomber detonated today in al-Muqdadiya district (45 km northeast of Baaquba) near a U.S. army patrol vehicle,” Staff. Maj. Gen. Abdelhussein al-Shamri told IraqiNews.com. “The bomber was killed and seven civilians, who were close to the scene of the blast, were wounded,” Shamri added.
