Soon: IAF meeting to nominate replacement for speaker

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A parliamentarian from the Iraqi Accord Front (IAF) on Thursday said that it will officially meet in the next few days to nominate a replacement for Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, the Iraqi Parliament’s speaker who resigned from his post a few days ago. “There is an understanding between us and other blocs concerning this matter,” Abdelkareem al-Samarraie told IraqiNews.com.
