Rocket attack leaves no casualties in Dalouiya

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: A rocket attack targeted two houses in eastern Dalouiya district, causing no casualties, an official source from the Iraqi police said on Sunday. “Last night, unknown gunmen attacked two houses belonging to security personnel in Bishkan village, eastern Dalouiya, with missiles and machine guns,” Maj. Khalil Mohammed told IraqiNews.com. “Clashes broke out with the gunmen, but no casualties have been reported,” Mohammed added. “When police forces arrived on the scene to rescue civilians, an explosive charge detonated near a vehicle, causing damage to it, but no casualties were reported,” Mohammed added. Dalouiya is affiliated with Salah al-Din province, whose capital city, Tikrit, lies 175 km north of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
