President Talabani discusses political developments with SIIC chief

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Chief of the Supreme Iraqi Supreme Council Abdulaziz al-Hakim on Monday paid a visit to Iraq’s President Jalal Talabani at his official headquarters in Baghdad, according to a statement of the SIIC. “The president reviewed with al-Hakim the recent meetings he had in Kirkuk,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com. “The two discussed several issues in the Iraqi political arena,” it noted.
