Gunmen kill former cop in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Unknown gunmen on Tuesday killed a former policeman in central Mosul, a police source said. “Unidentified gunmen assassinated a former policeman in al-Shaariyeen marketplace in central Mosul, when they showered him with bullets,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “They fled to an unknown place,” he added. “The dead man had quit his job over a year,” he also said, without giving further details.
