Iraq signs 2 pacts with Britain, Australia – MOD

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The official spokesperson of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense (MOD) on Wednesday said that Iraq has signed two pacts with Britain and Australia to arrange their forces’ presence in the country, explaining that these forces have until July 31st 2009 to complete withdrawing from Iraq. “The pacts organizes the missions of the two countries’ forces in Iraq during the coming six months,” General Mohammed al-Askari told IraqiNews.com. “The two pacts will be implemented from January 1st until June 30th 2009,” he said.
