Parliament’s speaker position for IAF – VP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi on Wednesday said Iraq’s Presidency Board approved that the position of parliament’s speaker should be filled by the nominee of the Iraqi Accord Front (IAF). “There is an agreement and compatibility in point of views in this regard,” al-Hashemi told the press. “All sides agree that IAF’s nominee should be the one accepted,” he said. “The nomination process will move smoothly and with no problems,” he added.
