Defense Ministry celebrates Army Day

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Defense on Sunday celebrated the 88 th anniversary of Army Day during a ceremony attended by President Jalal al-Talabani and senior Iraqi, U.S., and British officers. “A military parade was organized for the occasion,” a media source from the ministry told IraqiNews.com news agency. The celebration was held before its scheduled time on January 6, which will coincide with the Ashuraa anniversary, the source explained.
