VP, political bloc leader take up provincial elections

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdelmahdi discussed with the head of the National Accord Movement, Iyad Allawi, the political situation in the country and means of rendering the upcoming provincial council elections a success. “Abdelmahdi received Allawi, who is also a former prime minister, and discussed relations between political blocs in the country,” according to a presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
