Arms, ammo found near Talaafar

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A cache containing arms and ammunition was found near Talaafar district, a local security source said on Wednesday. “This afternoon, police personnel discovered a cache in al-Fadiliya village (25 km west of Talaafar),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The cache contained Kalashnikov rifles, 150 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), a large amount of TNT explosive, and 75 mortar shells, according to the source. The cache was found in light of intelligence tips from detainees, the source added.
