Joint forces confiscate light weapons in Babel

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Joint security forces on Wednesday seized a number of light arms in northern Babel, a security source said. “A joint force of emergency forces and the 31st brigade of the 8th division of the Iraqi army on Wednesday (Jan. 7) waged a crackdown operation in a number of houses in northern Babel, where they confiscated a number of light arms,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The operation came within the security plan to secure the Ashuraa celebrations,” he added.
