2 girls represent Iraq in world tae kwon do tournament

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Two Iraqi players will represent their country in the world tae kwon do tournament for juniors to be hosted in the United States next February, a source in Iraq’s tae kwon do federation said on Friday. “Naz Ahmed and Niaz Ahmed will represent Iraq in the 13-14 age category of the juniors’ tae kwon do tournament in the United States,” Saddad Mohammed, the federation’s financial affairs chief, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The tournament’s competitions will be held on February 10-15 with participation of more than 50 teams from all over the world,” he said. The two players had won gold and silver medals during the previous tournament hosted in the Croatian capital city of Zagreb late last year, Mohammed added. AmR (P) 1
