IED kills civilian, injures 6 in eastern Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A civilian was killed and six others were wounded on Friday when an improvised explosive device went off in eastern Baghdad, a police source said. “The explosion took place near a Shiite mosque in al-Maamel region in eastern Baghdad while prayers were leaving the mosque, killing one and injuring six,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
