President praises police role in facing “terrorism”

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani has praised the role of the Iraqi police in combating “terrorism” and drying out its resources. “Police personnel have basically contributed to the stability of the political process…and the reconstruction of Iraq,” Talabani said in a congratulatory message to the country’s police forces on the occasion of their 87 th anniversary.
