Thi-Qar’s Sahwa al-Iraq to enter elections with 8 candidates

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Sahwa al-Iraq bloc on Saturday said that it will participate in the upcoming provincial council elections in Thi-Qar province with eight candidates, according to a media spokesperson for the bloc. “Our slate, which includes chieftains, technocrats and independents, aims to preserve Iraq’s unity and to work out radical solutions to the basic problems in people’s life…,” Haydar Kadhem Salem told IraqiNews.com news agency.
