$2.6 m. to rehabilitate neighborhood in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A local company on Monday completed work on a project to rehabilitate a residential neighborhood in central Kut at a total cost of more than $2.6 million, according to Wassit’s deputy governor for technical affairs. “The neighborhood is in al-Aswaq area, central Kut,” Engineer Sabeeh Lafta told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The work included new sewage and drinking water systems, in addition to paving 25 streets,” he added.
