3 projects opened in Wassit
Wassit-Projects WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The governor of Wassit on Monday opened three projects in the north of Kut at a cost of $2.1 million, the director of Wassit’s media department said. “Governor of Wassit Latief Hamad al-Tarfa opened on Monday (Jan. 12) three projects realized in al-Hafriya district, north of Kut, at a cost of $2.1 million within projects to develop provinces in 2008,” Majid al-Attabi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The projects envisage paving streets and opening a school in Tulaiha village in the district,” he added. “The governor met the director of the district and members of the municipality council and told them the governorate allocated enough amounts to develop the district in 2009,” he also said.
