IED targets U.S. patrol, no casualties

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An improvised explosive device (IED) on Monday targeted a U.S. patrol vehicle in western Mosul city without causing casualties, according to a security source. “The explosion occurred in al-Maash market, western Mosul, but caused no casualties,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
