6 army officers arrested

Iraq-Officers BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The official spokesman for Baghdad’s Operations Command said on Tuesday that six Iraqi army officers were arrested after the explosion that took place in Kadhimiya region in Baghdad. “Six Iraqi army officers and some personnel who are responsible for protecting the Kadhimiya region were arrested on Tuesday (Jan. 13),” General Qassem Atta told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Iraqi Prime Minister issued an order to form an investigative committee to discover the reasons behind the explosion that rattled Kadhimiya,” he explained. “Al-Maliki also ordered to form a special force to protect the region, including women to search female visitors,” he added.
