Conference in Baghdad on investment, lands

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi National Investment Commission will organize a conference in Baghdad next month to discuss allocation of lands for local and foreign investments, a commission’s advisor said on Thursday. “It has been decided to hold the conference after mid-February,” Abdullah al-Bandar told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The event will be attended by the commission’s directors and officials from the Iraqi ministries,” he said. “The gathering is aimed at reaching optimal means to overcome difficulties that face investors and how to provide them with guarantees and privileges,” he added.
