Iraqi soldier wounded, body found in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi soldier was wounded in an improvised explosive device attack and a body of a civilian man was found in two separate incidents in Mosul city on Thursday, a Ninewa police source said. “An IED went off near an Iraqi army patrol in al-Shurta neighborhood, northern Mosul, wounding one patrolman,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “In al-Bakr neighborhood, eastern Mosul, an Iraqi army force found the body of a civilian man showing signs of having been shot in the head,” the source said. “The body was removed to a morgue in Mosul,” the source added, not giving more details.
