MoU signed with UNDP in Jordan

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The national authority for investment on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the Jordanian capital Amman to prepare the national strategy for investment. “The strategy will clarify the nature and level of foreign direct investments as well as the local investments Iraq seeks to attract,” according to a statement released from the council of ministers’ media center received by IraqiNews.com. “The strategy will determine the role of these investments in the Iraqi economy,” the statement quoted a source as saying.
