MoU between Missan – Canadian firm

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The investment commission of Missan on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding with a Canadian company to execute eight service projects in the province, according to the commission’s head. “The eight projects consist of an advanced hospital with a capacity of 200 beds near Missan University, brick factory north of Amara city, gas driven power station that produces 500 Mega Watt of electricity, new residential compound, clinics, garbage elimination, in addition to two agricultural projects,” Ali Ward told IraqiNews.com news agency. The commission was formed in 2008, and consists of nine members that were elected by Missan’s provincial council. Amar, the capital city of Missan province, lies 390 km south of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
