BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A Baghdad-based university will open a shopping center for its staff and students at a cost of 40 million Iraqi dinars, the president of the university said on Saturday. “Next week, al-Nahrain University will open its first shopping center as a first step to provide its staff and students with consumer goods and foodstuffs at convenient prices,” Adnan al-Janabi told IraqiNews.com news agency. Al-Nahrain University is located in Baghdad and is considered by some to be one of the best universities in Iraq. It was established in 1987 and was named Saddam University, and after the fall of Saddam Hussein, its name changed to its current form. “Al Nahrain” translates to The Two Rivers of Iraq. SS (P) 1
