Diala explosion wounds 3

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Three civilians on Tuesday were wounded in an explosive charge blast that targeted a movement headquarters in downtown Baaquba city, according to a security source. “An improvised explosive device (IED) targeted the headquarters of the National Movement for Reform and Development in downtown Baaquba al-Jadeeda neighborhood, wounding three civilians and causing severe damage to four vehicles belonging to the movement,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The movement, led by Jamal al-Karbouli, has 29 members, including five women,” an official from the movement, Adam al-Atbi, said. A total of 641 candidates are competing in the upcoming provincial council elections in Diala province, scheduled to take place on January 31.
