Interior Ministry calls on security forces to vote on time

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The undersecretary of the Iraqi interior ministry for police affairs on Tuesday called on security forces personnel to vote on the date specified for them, according to a release issued by the security committee for provincial elections. “I call on security forces personnel to vote on the date specified for them, and not to vote with the average people on Jan. 31; otherwise, related terms would be imposed on them,” the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted General Eden Khaled Qader. “A group of officers will be assigned to protect polling centers, in addition to another group that will be responsible for advising and instructing,” he added.
